Tonight’s iteration will feature music from alchemists and Rosicrucians; music from cults and secret societies. Selections include Athanasius Kircher’s music of the spheres, Lawsonomy hymns, and a puzzling tune by Paschal Beverly Randolph. Plus: the proper use of a monochord.

We hope you’ll join us for the entire series (See three-lecture ticket):
Part I - Music from The Ultraterrestrials (Wednesday, March 25th)
Part II - Music from the Occult (Wednesday, April 1st)
Part III: A Collection of Curiosities (Wednesday, April 8th)

Doug Skinner has contributed to “Fate,” “The Fortean Times,” “Strange
Attractor Journal,” “Cabinet,” and other fine periodicals. He has written
