Morbid Anatomy Taxidermy fest with taxidermy demonstrations and show and tells, lectures, archival films, show-and-tell, photo booth, costume contest, and more; presented by Divya Anantharaman, Katie Innamorato, and Morbid Anatomy with MC Robert Marbury, author of “Taxidermy Art”!
Please join us on January 24th for a daylong festival dedicated to all things taxidermy! Meet some of the major East Coast taxidermy artists, naturalists, collectors and scholars who take pride in championing, reinventing and teaching this fascinating practice at the intersection of art and science. The event will be co-curated by Morbid Anatomy Museum taxidermists in residence Divya Anantharaman and Katie Innamorato as well as the Morbid Anatomy Team. Taxidermists and naturalists from different generations and backgrounds will sell their creations and perform unique hands-on demonstrations and show-and-tells. There will also be lectures, archival films, photo booth, a costume contest, and more!

Participants will include MC Robert Marbury, author of “Taxidermy Art”; Morbid Anatomy Taxidermists in Residence Divya Anantharaman (Friends Forever Taxidermy) and Katie Innamorato (Afterlife Anatomy); Baron Ambrosia ( Bronx Culinary Ambassador & Member of The Explorers Club); Erin Chapman (American Museum of Natural History); Evan Michelson ( Obscura Antiques ); Melissa Milgrom, author of “Still Life, Adventures in Taxidermy;” Leah Polans (Head Fabricator at The Evolution Store); Mike Zohn (TV’s Oddities and Obscura Antiques); and many, many more!
