Tonight, join us for a night of fire eaters, sword swallowers, and other sideshow performers to celebrate the publication of Ward Hall — King of the Sideshow! The Morbid Anatomy Museum and HuffPost Weird News are teaming up for a one-of-a-kind book event and party, starring legendary sideshow impresario Ward Hall and author Tim O’Brien.

At 6:30, join Ward and Tim at The Morbid Anatomy Museum for stories about Percilla The Money Girl, Emmett the Alligator Skin Man, bearded ladies, giants, pinheads, conjoined twins and other marvels the 84-year-old has worked with in his 70 years working in carnivals, sideshows and circuses big and small. You’ll learn inside tricks of the trade and witness live demonstrations of sideshow craft, followed by a toast to Ward. There will be plenty of complimentary wine, but pace yourself, because…

The party then moves over the the nearby Rock Shop, for a two-hour happy hour, and a sideshow starring the great Todd Robbins, featuring the chainsaw-juggling Donny Vomit and sword-swallowing Playboy model Marlena Dee. The gypsy jazz quintette, the Bailsmen, will be performing live, with FREE DRINKS sponsored by Hendrick’s Gin, Bulleit Bourbon, Narragansett Beer and HobNob Wines.

Throughout the evening, Ward and Tim will be on hand to sign your books, and talk about their freaky lives. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
