This will be the first of a series devoted to drawing the bones, wet specimens and other artifacts of Morbid Anatomy Museum. Tonight, we will explore the concept of decay through line, color and value as we draw from a curated selection of post-mortem flora and fauna in various stages of desiccation and halted decomposition.
Music will be provided by DJ Momento Mori, and libations will be free while supplies last.
Jesse Perlstein is a visual/sound artist based in Brooklyn, NY. He is an avid collaborator and a puckish rogue. He has taught, shown and performed locally and internationally. Ask him about X-Men lore and the relationship between time and identity.
Brenna Pladsen is a freelance graphic designer in NYC and more insidious and calculated. She studies at Parsons and fights cats. Also available as a cheap tailor and moonlights as a semiologist. Please call for appointments.
